A little bit of sweet candy

Okay, it's finally here. My blog candy to celebrate 1000 hits! I'm almost at 1300, but let's just ignore that little fact, okay?

So, to make up for my tardiness, I've put together TWO blog candy giveaways! Just a little something to say 'thank you' for reading my blog. :)

Blog Candy #1 - "Retro"
A collection of (mostly) retro colours and images. There's ribbon, paper, Magic Mesh, a mini-scrapbook, jumbo eyelets, metal embellishments, die-cuts & tags, SU punched shapes, K&Co retro chipboard images, mini clothespins, and a whack of Prima flowers:
Blog Candy #2 - "Brights"
Well, brights and pastels, I guess. There's ribbon, paper, lots of die-cuts, Magic Mesh, SU punched shapes, a little Creative Memories paper/stickers set, a few square rhinestones, some googley eyes (I think they're hilarious on a kid's card!), a few clear buttons, and some Prima flowers.

So, how do you win one of these fun little packages? It's simple:

#1 - Spread the word. Share a link to my blog candy post on your blog.
#2 - Leave a comment on this post, with a link to your blog, as well as your favourite craft-related organizational tip. If you haven't heard, I'll soon have an entire room for my crafts, so I'm compiling a list of ideas!

I'll randomly pick two winners in exactly one week from now, so be sure to leave your comment on this post before next Sunday at midnight (PST). The blog candy is open to all of North America.

And thanks for helping me reach over 1000 hits!

thanks for the great blog candy, J! the best thing i've done to organize is to label, label, label! each container that i have, i've labeled to easily identify what's in it so i can grab it quick... also, i bought metal DVD tins to store my Nesties (although, i hear Spellbinders is coming out with a new storage binder for them)...

Oooh, great blog candy packs, Jes! You're all linked up on my blog.

The best thing I've done to help keep me organized is just to have it all close at hand, and have bins/baskets for different 'types' of things. I have a number of bins in and around my desk - you've seen the pics :) And of course, the dowels & binder clips for ribbon are great.

Congrats on 1000 (or well, 1300!)!!

Noodled around your blog, it's great. My way of organizing is altering containers to store things in. I alter mother oats boxes and those big round plastic containers pretzels come in with coordinating cardstock and ribbons. That way I am prettying up useful holders that would normally go in the trash. judy

Cuuute! I like the term "blog Candy"...I might have to use that sometime. Well I just found your site and I have to say that I am already lovin it, because we share the same name! and your site is very cute. Congrats on 1000 hits...I aspire to that. My organizational tip is shelving. We've just moved and I don't have my crafty room to myself right now, so I am putting shelfs on the wall and hanging boards with a lot of little wholes (forgot the name of it) with hangers for some of my tools.

Congratulations on reaching 1,000 hits! How exciting that you will have a whole room for your crafts! I don't have a blog, but I do have a small tip. I altered a Pringles can and use it to keep my paint brushes in... brush end up. Since it's tall it holds them much better than something shorter.

Hi Jessica!
Congratulations on over 1000 hits!
Great job on your blog! Thank you for offering a chance to win that awesome blog candy...wow!

One organizing tip that has worked for me is using photo boxes for my ribbon. You know those chipboard like boxes that Michael's sells for $3.99, or 2/$5, that you can get in all differnt colors. I store my ribbons in those, setting the spools up on their sides, so I can just glance in and find what I'm looking for. I like to take out the whole spool instead of guessing at how much I need to cut off. I waste less that way.

Great blog candy!

My organising tip is to put everything in boxes and label them.
Sometimes I alter a tin box or can and then label them to!
