And I've only just decided on the design for my Christmas cards. Eek! I'm making a bunch, so I went with something simple. I like how it looks, but you'll have to wait until they're sent out before I post a photo (as some of you may be getting one!).
In honour of the countdown to Christmas, I though I'd have a little fun. Post a comment and tell me your favourite Christmas movie. On December 1st I'll have a draw for a RAK (random act of kindness) package of craft goodies! Make sure to include your email address, so I can reach you if you win!
My favourite Christmas movie is White Christmas. You know, the one with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye? Of course there's other classics, especially the old cartoon ones. I love the few weeks before Christmas, when all the old movies come on. I always think I should buy the DVDs, but never remember. Darren did buy White Christmas for me one year, just so I can be sure I don't miss it on TV!
Christmas will be even more crazy at our house this year. Chloe still won't understand why we have presents, but I know she's going to go crazy when she gets to open them! And then her birthday follows a few weeks after. This year we're going to have a nice small party, with just a few of her friends. Maybe it will snow, and we can play outside!
Anyway, that's my little excitement about Christmas. Don't forget to leave a comment by November 30th!

my favourite Christmas movie is the Nightmare Before Christmas... a stop-animation musical that combines my two favourite holidays and talks about throwing snowballs instead of heads = a helluva good movie...

My favourite Christmas movie is The Nutcracker (the real ballet one, not the Macaulay Culkin one). I start stalking the TV listings at the beginning of December, and will actually stay up to the wee hours of the morning to watch it.

Muppet Christmas Carol. Hands down. Closely followed by Charlie Brown's Christmas.

I have two and you can't make me pick just one ;)
The all time favourite - It's a Wonderful Life It's not Christmas without George.
My new favourite is a cartoon called Olive the Other Reindeer. Drew Berrymore is the voice of a little dog named Olive who sets out to help Santa when one of the reindeer gets sick.
I have two favorites... Love Actually and Elf. Both funny, both heart warming.
A Christmas Story!
Fra--geee--lay! Must be Italian.
I LOVE Little Women with Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon and Kirsten Dunst (1994 version). I could watch it any day of the year and be hella happy.

My favourite Christmas movie is "It's a Wonderful Life". (The black and white version, please) There's something about Jimmy Stewart running down the main street of Bedford Falls shouting "Merry Christmas, everybody", that just turns me into a blubbering idiot, every. single. time. I wish things were still that simple. :D

My favorite Christmas movie has to be It's a Wonderful Life. It reminds me that everyone is put on this earth for a reason. I'm still finding out why I'm here, but the movie gives me hope and makes me glad I have the family and friends I do. Oh ya, and Jimmy Stewart's not bad to look at!

The 50's version of A Christmas Carol in all it's black and white Scroogey glory. The ghosts used to scare the Dickens (hahaha) every year ... who am I kidding, still does!
I love the Grinch who stole Christmas ( the cartoon one, not the Jim Carey one). I can't believe that no one mentioned it! I like the Nightmare before Christmas too. It's not Christmas to me until the Grinch has been on. ;)
I love It's a Wonderful Life, Elf and Charlie Brown Christmas.

One Magic Christmas.
It completely captures exactly what I had pictured the North Pole to be like. It is one my family has been watching every year since 1988.
Another one that I really liked which is a new addition to the Christmas movie line up is The Holiday. An awesome chick flick. I've always wanted to spend the holidays in a little cottage in the English countryside and this one makes you feel like you are there. Good cast too :)
